Disposal of solid waste

A new future for waste!

Our renewables platform guarantees the transformation of thousands of tons of waste into new products. All of this takes place at our Ecoparks spread across Brazil.

There, garbage – which is seen as a problem for society, becomes synonymous with a greener future for the next generations.

The appreciation of this raw material, therefore, has a fundamental role in the route to a more circular and sustainable economy.

Biogas is clean energy!

We capture and use Biogas at all our Ecoparks. Biogas is an important source of renewable raw material that can be used as an alternative to fossil fuels.

Through infrastructure, technology and innovation, biogas can be transformed into both electrical energy and biomethane, a green fuel.

Our potential generation capacity is 2.5 million Nm³/day of Biogas!

Water for reuse: circular economy and environmental protection!

Through the waste recovery process, we treat leachate, a highly polluting liquid that poses risks to people’s health and the environment.

With investments in international technology, we carry out the Reverse Osmosis process, which allows the leachate to be transformed into water for reuse, used at our ecoparks.

Generation of Carbon Credits from Waste

By taking care of what is discarded daily by around 30 million Brazilians and avoiding the exposure of methane gas in the atmosphere, we have the capacity to generate 3.4 million tons of carbon credits per year at our Ecoparks.

This number is equivalent to 24 million trees planted/year or the removal of 1.4 million cars from the streets.

In this way, we contribute to reducing the emission of greenhouse gases on the planet and, consequently, the effects of global warming.

Waste is transformed into:

  • Credits Carbon Generation of Carbon Credits by avoiding the emission of Methane Gas into the atmosphere.
  • BiogasCapture and use of Biogas in all Ecoparks.
  • Biomethane Biomethane Generation from Biogas Purification.
  • Power renewable Generation of Renewable Energy from Biogas and Biomethane.
  • Recycled Material Sorting and reuse of recyclable materials.
  • Refuse Derived Fuel Generation of Refuse Derived Fuel.
  • Organic Fertilizers Waste composting for the production of organomineral fertilizer.
  • Coprocessing Receipt of materials for coprocessing.
  • Reverse Manufacturing Mischaracterization of materials for reinsertion in the production chain.
